He is well known for being an opponent of Albert Einstein’s Theory of Relativity and for having examined a wide range of religious doctrines in his writings, including a thorough analysis of pandeism.
Weinstein, a German-born Jew who was raised in Kovno, Imperial Russia, translated James Clerk Maxwell’s Treatise on Electricity and Magnetism in 1883[4] and instructed electrodynamics classes at the University of Berlin.
