Formula One driver Max Verstappen is considered one of the highest paid F1 drivers accruing a whooping $42 million in 2021.
He became the first Dutch racing driver to win the championship after so many attempts, beating compatriots Lewis Hamilton at the 2021 Abu Dhabi GP in a dramatic fashion.

2021 has been a successful year for Verstappen after gagging F1 world title at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, beating seven-time champion Lewis Hamilton on the final lap.
According to Forbes, the 24year old is the second-highest-paid F1 driver in the world, with $25 million in projected salary for 2021.
He is also expected to amass another $17 million in bonuses before the year ends after emerging victorious in the recently concluded competition.
Lewis Hamilton remains to be the number one highest paid formula, one driver, after replacing Michael Schumacher at Mercedes in 2012 with $55 million in salary and $7 million in projected bonuses for 2021.
At 17-year-old, Verstappen entered the Australian Grand Prix in 2015 and has never looked back. By age 18, on his debut, he won the 2016 Spanish Grand Prix for Red Bull, becoming the Dutch driver and the youngest-ever to achieve the feat of winning the competition.
With multiple endorsements to his name, Verstappen’s net worth stands at almost $60 million thanks to multiple endorsements. However, this could even shoot up, considering the substantial rise in pay in 2022.
His contract at Red Bull runs at least until the end of 2023 after signing a contract extension.
