Maryam Hashemi (born 1977) is an Iranian visual artist based in East London’s Hackney Wick. Frequently using pencil, watercolor, or acrylic paint.
Hashemi was raised in Tehran. She earned a degree in Graphic Design from Islamic Azad University in 2001 and has lived in the United Kingdom since 2002.
