Actress and fashion ambassador Martha Ankomah of Ghana has filed a lawsuit against another star. Kwadwo Nkansah, also referred to as Lil Win, when the latter made disparaging comments.

Lil Win said, according to Martha Ankomah, that she had belittled Kumawood actors, citing their apparent dearth of compelling narratives as justification for her unwillingness to collaborate with them.

Lil Win implied that Martha was speaking negatively despite being associated with the brand, and she went on to criticize her for her position as a GTP Ambassador.

He said: “Martha, those who are richer than you are rather humble and respect themselves a lot. Do you honestly call yourself a star? Who knows you? What do you have? “I don’t even know why GTP bypassed the likes of McBrown, Mercy Asiedu, and co, and made Martha Ankomah their Brand Ambassador.

The likes of Van Vicker, Roselyn Ngissah, and co, do not do these things. They even work with us. They shoot Kumawood movies. I’m still amazed that you made such statements, were you drunk?”

He continued, “Patience Ozorkwor came to Kumasi to shoot a movie. Aki and Pawpaw, Mr. Ibu, and the rest came down to shoot a movie here. But for people like you, who call yourselves refined actors; how many times do these Nigerians come to Ghana to shoot movies? They are the ones who rather send for you guys.”

Martha Ankomah filed a writ of summons at the High Court in Accra in response to these accusations, requesting reparation for Lil Win’s fraudulent remarks.

Lil Win is required by the writ to answer the accusations in person at the court within eight days.

The lawsuit is being brought as Martha Ankomah, who has emphasized her dedication to professionalism and ethics in the Ghanaian film business, firmly refutes the allegations made against her.

According to her, such unfounded accusations not only damage her name but also the atmosphere of cooperation that is essential to the expansion of the entertainment industry.

Lil Win and Martha Ankomah are waiting for the court case to conclude to ascertain the truthfulness of the disputed assertions and pursue suitable compensation for any injuries sustained.
