Marquez Antonio Callaway (born March 27, 1998) is an American football wide receiver for the National Football League’s New Orleans Saints (NFL). He went to Tennessee for college football.
Callaway went to Warner Robins High School in Warner Robins, Georgia, and played high school football there. Callaway, a 4-star recruit, chose Tennessee over offers from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Michigan State, and Notre Dame, among others.
In four seasons at Tennessee, Callaway had 92 receptions for 1,646 yards and 13 receiving touchdowns.
After the 2020 NFL Draft, Callaway signed as an undrafted free agent with the New Orleans Saints in April 2020. He made his NFL debut against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 2, playing offense and special teams.
He had his first professional reception in Week 4 against the Detroit Lions, a 16-yard catch in a 35-29 victory. Callaway was targeted six times and made four receptions for 34 yards against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 5.
Callaway caught Drew Brees’ 7,000th completion on October 25, 2020, in a game against the Carolina Panthers. He finished with eight receptions for 75 yards, both of which were team highs.
