Marlon Lamont Wayans is an American actor, comedian, writer, and producer who was born on July 23, 1972. Wayans made his acting debut in ‘I’m Gonna Git You Sucka’ as a pedestrian (1988).
Wayans was born in New York City to grocery manager Howell Stouten Wayans and homemaker Elvira Alethia (Green), a social worker. He came from a Jehovah’s Witness family.
The youngest of ten siblings, Wayans grew up in a New York City housing project. Nadia, Shawn, Keenen Ivory, Damon, Dwayne, and Kim are his siblings.
Between 1992 and 1993, Marlon made appearances on In Living Color alongside his siblings. Wayans and his brother Shawn co-starred in the WB sitcom ‘The Wayans Bros.’ from 1995 to 1999.
Wayans was initially considered for the role of Robin in the 1992 movie Batman Returns, but the character was cut from the movie because it was thought that there were too many characters in it.
