Mario Batali parent’s are Armandino Batali and Marilyn LaFramboise.
His father, Armandino Batali was a process engineer for Boeing until he retired.
He is currently the owner of a restaurant and salumeria in Seattle’s Pioneer Square.
Armandino Batali has his restaurant inspiration from his grandfather, Angelo Merlino, who opened the first Italian food import store in Seattle in 1903.
His mother Marilyn LaFramboise Batali was also a docent at the Seattle Art Museum.
She died peacefully at home in Seattle on May 6, 2020, at age 82.
