German actress Margit Saad was one of the popular actresses in the 1960s. She began her acting career largely in German film and television, with occasional English language appearances. She made her screen debut in Eva erbt das Paradies.

In 1960, Margit starred in the British drama film The Criminal. She also appeared in other British films and television programs such as The Rebel (US Call Me Genius, 1961) with Tony Hancock.

She also starred in Playback (1962), an entry in the Edgar Wallace Mysteries series of second features, The Saint in The Saint Sees It Through (1964) and The Magnificent Two (1967) supporting Morecambe and Wise. Margit further appeared in an early 1966 episode of the American television espionage series Blue Light.

She was born on May 30, 1929, in Munich, Bavaria, Germany, to her lovely parents who named her Marguerite Saad.

Her father Fouad Saad Jabbour was a Lebanese linguist and her mother Agness Saad was a German language teacher from Dusseldorf. Aside from their names and occupation, much is not known about her parents.
