Margaret Urlich health: What disease did Margaret Urlich have?

Margaret Urlich, a famous New Zealand vocalist who became well-known after relocating to Sydney in the late 1980s, passed away at the age of 57.

According to a statement issued by her family, Urlich had been battling cancer for the past two years.

Safety in Numbers, the musician’s 1989 debut album, topped the charts and brought her an ARIA Award for Breakthrough Artist in 1991.

She was one of the best-selling music artists in New Zealand and contributed backing vocals to Daryl Braithwaite’s 1990 smash album Rise.

The voice of Urlich played a significant role in Braithwaite’s popular song Horses.

However, a model was seen lip-syncing Urlich’s voice in the video.

Because Safety In Numbers had just been launched and Urlich was eager to establish herself as a solo artist, she decided against participating in the video clip.

In Australia and New Zealand, Safety in Numbers achieved triple platinum status.

Ulrich later released The Deepest Blue (1995) and Second Nature, two additional albums (1999).

She participated in the New Zealand cast of Jesus Christ Superstar in 1993 and had a live album released in 1994.
