Marco Alexandre Saraiva da Silva is a former Portuguese right-back who is now the head coach of Premier League team Fulham.
He played for a number of Portuguese clubs before concluding his career with a six-year stint with Estoril. He was their manager for three years before taking over as coach of Sporting CP for a season, during which they won the Portuguese Cup. He later worked in several countries, first with Olympiacos, where he won the Super League Greece in 2015-16. He served numerous years as the head coach of Hull City, Watford, Everton, and Fulham in England.

Silva rose through the ranks of the local club C.F. The Belenenses In a 15-year career, he only played in two Primeira Liga games, one for that club and one for S.C. Campomaiorense.
From 2000 until 2005, he represented C.D. in the second and third divisions. Trofense, Rio Ave FC, S.C. Braga B, S.C. Salgueiros, and Odivelas FC are among the clubs involved.
Silva joined G.D. in the off-season of 2005. Estoril Praia, where he remained in the second division until his retirement six years later. He last played on 2 January 2011, when he lost 0-1 at home to F.C. Penafiel in the Taça da Liga group stage.
Silva retired in June at the age of 34, having played 152 games and scored two goals in the second level.
