Jones who lived in Greater Manchester was preparing for race in December when he discovered a lump in his stomach.
It later turned out to be fatal scenario for me medically.
In February, he heard that the disease had progressed to the point where it was incurable and he focused his hopes on treatment alternatives that might allow him to survive long enough to enjoy Christmas with his family.
That dream never surfaced as he passed at 46.
