Filipino-born Canadian actor Manuel Luis Jacinto born August 19, 1987, was raised in Canada. He attended the University of British Columbia, Canada where he has a degree in Civil engineering.
After playing a number of minor roles on television, Jason Mendoza became his breakthrough character in the NBC sitcom The Good Place (2016–2020). In the 2018 neo-noir thriller film Bad Times at the El Royale and the action drama film Top Gun: Maverick, he played Waring “Wade” Espiritu and Fritz, respectively (2022).
