Maneet Chauhan is a television personality and Indian-American chef who was born on October 27, 1976, in Ludhiana, Punjab. She currently serves as a judge on Chopped, which airs on the Food Network. She was the Executive Chef of numerous notable restaurants in Chicago, Nashville, and New York. She has judged the final episode of Worst Cooks in America on Food Network and has also appeared on The Next Iron Chef, The View on ABC, Iron Chef America, and the Today show on NBC.
President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama invited Chauhan to the White House for the 2014 Easter Egg Roll Hunt. She is also an invited member of Indiaspora, which held its first Forum in September 2012 and welcomed 100 influential Indian American leaders. The purpose of the three-day Forum events was to invigorate the community and give it a voice to express its collective objectives.
Chef Chauhan, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, was honored as the Ambassador of the Culinary Institute of America for her “Distinguished Service to the Foodservice and Hospitality Industry” in addition to giving the keynote address at the associate degree commencement on the Hyde Park campus of the college.

Maneet tied the knot with Vivek Deora, an international restaurateur, after a long-distance relationship. Shagun, which means “blessing,” was born to the two life partners shortly after they became business partners. She is now nine years old.
