United will now face A-League side Melbourne Victory at 11:05 a.m. today in the United Kingdom.
Harry Maguire is fit to play after having missed the previous match due to a said minor injury.
Meanwhile, Christian Eriksen has finally been signed by Manchester United.
The Denmark international is their second signing of the summer, following the arrival of Tyrell Malacia at Old Trafford.
Eriksen became a free agent after his contract with Brentfordnis was said to have expired.
The 30-year-old, who previously played for Tottenham Hotspur for over half a decade, left Inter Milan after being fitted with an implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) following a cardiac arrest at Euro 2020.
Eriksen impressed during his brief stint with Brentford, and United has now announced that he has signed a three-year contract with the club.
