One person is reported to have died, whereas at least 22 people got injured after a bombardment at the Chief’s victory parade Wednesday, Feb. 14, in Kansas City, Missouri. The police said some of those injured are children, and three people specifically are currently in custody.
Meanwhile, when shots rang, the parade turned to fearless, frantic streets of ambulances and first responders rushing in to find and delight victims. Practically, it was noted by high authorities that the entire motive is not believed to be terrorism.
Precisely, Zachary Parsley was noted to be one of tens of thousands at the parade.
Quoting……”I heard the, like, pops, and I thought it couldn’t be… Another active shooter, again,” Parsley said.
It was noted that the day meant for celebrating the Chiefs’ Super Bowl win turned to chaos as people tried to exit all at once. Meanwhile, Parsley didn’t see the shooter or anyone incapacitated, but whispered that this was approximately what shouldn’t have ever happened.
“It should’ve gone smoothly; everybody could’ve gotten out there,” Parsley said.
Parsley said that when he heard the shooting, he didn’t know what to do.
“When they started shooting, it was like, woah, everybody cleared out in a hurry… They started telling me to move, and I moved. I had to hop over the barricade at Union Station; we had to sit there in place for about 10 to 20 minutes,” he said strongly.
Also, he He commended law enforcement for handling the situation quickly, but he thinks there should have been more security in place during the event. In the interim, this contributes to the preservation of numerous safety features and increased human security.
Notably, he stated that “they were out there, but they weren’t in the crowd like they should be… They were protecting the team regardless, but they weren’t protecting the fans,” he said
In order to aid them in their investigation, investigators are requesting that anyone with video of the incident send it to them. Law enforcement has stated that they are investigating witness accounts of a fan tackling a suspect.
