The suspect for robbing Alice Kakari, a 74-year-old stroke patient, in the Awutu Senya East Municipality was punished by the Kasoa Ofaakor Circuit Court, which was presided over by His Lordship Oheneba Kuffour.

According to the prosecutor, Alice Kakari, a 74-year-old stroke patient, attempted to shout for help on January 25, 2024, but was robbed and slain by the suspect, Mohammed Abdullah.

Gifty Obenewaa Yeboah, the deceased woman’s daughter, told Adom News after the court hearings that while she is pleased with the sentencing, she is very sorry that her mother is no longer with us.

In actuality, 50 years is plenty because he has truly hurt us so much. In addition, we are awaiting the outcome of the murder investigation. She declared, “He needs to get a really good punishment.”
