A 55-year-old man named Mutiacya from Uganda has made headlines after divorcing all three of his wives on the same day.
The decision has left his community bewildered and curious about the reasons behind this drastic step.
Mutiacya, who was once financially well-off, shared his story in an exclusive interview with the press. He revealed that his life took a downturn when he first lost his job, which eventually cut his primary source of income.
The once harmonious family, consisting of him and his three wives along with their seven children, started facing difficulties.
As financial struggles persisted, Mutiacya recounted how his wives’ behavior changed dramatically. He felt disrespected as the head of the home as they openly disregarded him due to his altered financial situation.
The constant disrespect led him to a breaking point, ultimately leading him to take the unexpected decision of divorcing all three wives on the same day.
Following the divorces, Mutiacya found solace in an unconventional way. He now finds happiness in sharing the little he has with other people’s kids.
When the question of whether he would consider marrying again was put before him, Mutiacya firmly stated, “Never.” His past experience with multiple marriages has left him disillusioned and unwilling to venture into matrimony again.
