A 36-year-old guy going by the name Nii is charged with killing his ex-girlfriend.
The incident happened on Sunday, February 18, 2024, according to Baba Solomon, a former assemblyman for the Papaasi electoral area, who verified it to Adom News.
Patricia Afua was attacked by the suspect allegedly when she was traveling to church in Sehwi Yerepemso in the Bia West District of the Western North Region.
The woman was fatally stabbed numerous times by the perpetrator, who had been in the town for two weeks, after she was ambushed, according to sources.
Nii was captured by locals who saw the attack and turned over to the police at Sehwi Adjofua.
The deceased’s body has been placed in the morgue of the Sehwi Juaboso government hospital while an autopsy is conducted.
