At Sehwi Surano ‘A’ close to Anhweaso in the Bibiani Anhweaso Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region, a 34-year-old man known only as Kwame Kesse is reportedly on the run after killing his younger brother’s pregnant wife.
On Monday, February 26, 2024, the horrific event took place. The deceased, who went as Mummy, was identified as a 20-year-old.
Adom News was informed by an eyewitness, Francis Mensah, that the victim’s house was the source of a cry for assistance. When they got to the house, they saw the dead body in front of their bathroom.
Francis stated that she had several cutlass wounds on her neck, hand, back, and throat when she was discovered, but it’s unclear what precipitated the attack. But the suspect was nowhere to be found.
After notifying the police, the body was transferred to the Anhweaso mortuary, and a manhunt was started for the suspect while investigations were ongoing.
