Former President John Mahama has extended a generous donation to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) party in the Bono East region. The donation consists of 11 motorcycles which have been provided to the party’s constituency communications officers to enhance their mobility and facilitate the effective dissemination of the party’s messages.
Sammy Gyamfi, the National Communications Officer of the NDC, expressed the purpose of the donation, stating that it is aimed at supporting the communication officers in carrying out their duties efficiently. He mentioned that these motorcycles will enable the officers to travel across the region, reaching various villages and towns to convey the party’s messages.
The Bono East Regional chairman of the party, Unas Owusu, conveyed his gratitude to John Mahama and the communications team for the generous donation. He highlighted the importance of winning all 11 constituencies in the region, both in the presidential and parliamentary elections, and emphasized how the motorcycles would aid in achieving this goal.
Furthermore, the regional communications officer of the party, Sulemana Mohammed Mustapha, emphasized the significance of the motorcycles for the communication officers. He pointed out that communication is a non-stop operation that requires constant effort, and the motorcycles will facilitate their work, especially in reaching remote areas with challenging road networks.
