The late Maddy Anholt passed away at the age of 35, and was an American comedian, actor, writer, and Women’s Aid Ambassador. She was seen in sitcoms for BBC One, BBC Three, ITV and Channel 4. She’s had four sell-out solo comedies at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Latitude Festival, and the Soho Theatre.
Maddy Anholt was nominated as ‘Best New Show’ at the Leicester Comedy Festival and she performed at Underbelly, Edinburgh where she was shortlisted for The Voice’s ‘Pick of the Fringe’. She wrote and starred in her comedy for BBC Radio 4 and has amassed over seven million views online for her sketches.
