In a shocking incident in Awutu Breku, Central Region, a dog went on a rampage, biting at least eight people and tragically causing the death of two individuals.

This unfortunate incident has sparked discussions about a longstanding local tradition that prohibits keeping dogs as pets.

According to reports, the town’s tradition dictates that dogs should not be kept as pets. Regrettably, one individual failed to adhere to this customary practice, leading to dire consequences.

Witnesses claim that the dog in question was exhibiting signs of madness, causing panic and fear in the community.

In a bid to protect themselves and others, the men in the town quickly organized to eliminate the dangerous animal. However, the dog managed to evade capture, leaving the community on edge.

The incident has prompted a broader conversation about the relevance and implications of the town’s traditional ban on dogs. Many are questioning whether it’s time to reassess this custom in light of public safety concerns.
