Machiko Soga was born on March 18th, 1938 in Hachioji, which is located in the Tokyo metropolitan area of Japan. Soga was a famous voice actress and actress who worked in Japan. During her career, she was also known by the stage name Stella Soga. She came from a poor family and was encouraged to pursue a career as a singer, but she found that her talents lay in acting instead.

Following Soga’s performance in a play at Tokyo Center, she was “discovered.” Her life would never be the same again after that night when she was introduced to many influential people working in the television industry in Japan.

It became public knowledge at the beginning of August 2005 that Machiko Soga had been given a diagnosis with pancreatic cancer approximately two years earlier. On the morning of May 7, 2006, a friend who was visiting her home discovered that she had passed away there. She has 68 years under her belt. Soga’s grave may be found in the Fucho section of Tokyo’s Tama Cemetery.
