Ghanaian entertainment icon Grace Omaboe, popularly known as Maame Dokono, is set to celebrate an incredible milestone of 60 years in the showbiz industry.
The legendary actress marked this achievement with a launch event held at the Silverbird Cinema in Accra on Tuesday, July 30.
Maame Dokono gained widespread recognition for her roles in the Akan drama TV series and as the host of the iconic show By The Fire Side on GTV.
To commemorate her long and successful career, a series of activities have been planned, including a health screening for the public and the release of her book.
The highlight of the celebration will be an event scheduled for September 7, 2024, where industry colleagues, fans, and well-wishers will come together to honor Maame Dokono’s contributions to Ghana’s entertainment sector.
