Actress and businesswoman Lydia Forson, from Ghana, has provided an explanation for why most men like broke women.
The well-known feminist clarified in a recent tweet that the majority of men prefer to date unemployed women who are unable to support themselves.
Contrary to popular assumption, Lydia clarified, most men dislike women who are financially independent. This is a result of their inability to command or govern them.
“Some men know EXACTLY what they’re doing when they pick young girls or those who don’t have to spend on. It’s about power and control. It’s why they get so aggressive when they can’t control them any longer. It’s also why they don’t like women who have their own money!! She wrote on X formerly known as Twitter.
Since then, her speech has sparked a lot of controversy on social media, with many people criticizing her for being a feminist. Some others agreed with her, but others denied the veracity of what she said.
