Luke Stoltman worked as a dimensional surveyor on oil rigs before and during his strongman career, and as a result, he has been unable to train for two weeks out of every month for most of his career.
He and his brother Tom are the only brothers to ever compete in the World’s Strongest Man finals. Both the Stoltman brothers are athlete ambassadors for home gym supplier Mirafit.

Luke Stoltman has competed in 36 strongman contests, 21 international and 11 national, as of the writing of this article. He has competed in six World’s Strongest Man competitions, placing first in both 2019 and 2021. Luke came in eighth place in both WSM finals.
Stoltman is one of Scotland’s Strongest Man’s most dominant competitors. He won the tournament five years in a row (2013-2017), then finished his second two years in a row (2018 and 2019) behind his younger brother Tom.
