Luis Suarez has announced his sensational return to Uruguay’s first club Nacional. The 35-year- old’s contract with Atletico Madrid expired last month, making him a free agent.
Since then, a number of teams have been linked with the Uruguayan, and a recent report claimed that Borussia Dortmund had made an offer to sign him.
A more recent one claimed that the LAFC of the MLS wanted Suarez to team up with Gareth Bale. The celebrity has now officially announced that he will return to Nacional 16 years after he left them to travel to Europe.
(I’ve now reached a pre-agreement in order to join Nacional, it was impossible for me to say no to this opportunity,) Suarez said in a video posted to Instagram announcing the news.
