Lucas François Bernard Hernandez, a French professional footballer who plays left back or center back for Bundesliga club Bayern Munich and the France national team, was born on February 14, 1996.
Hernandez began his professional career at Atlético Madrid. He participated in almost 100 competitive matches there, making it to the 2016 UEFA Champions League Final. He also won the Super Cup and the Europa League in the same year.
After joining Bayern in 2019, he won the Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal, and Champions League in his first season. Hernandez, a French international since 2018, competed in both the UEFA Euro 2020 tournament and the 2018 FIFA World Cup winning side.
