Louis Orr’s cause of death: How did Louis Orr die?

Bowling Green Basketball Coach Louis Orr was the victim of a hate crime, according to our sources. Vandals spray-painted the words “white power” and a swastika in front of Orr’s house.

It’s unfortunate that we still live in a culture where these senseless atrocities are committed. Every time we try to go ahead, we are yanked 10 steps backward.

After taking a year off from coaching, Orr was appointed as the men’s basketball coach at Bowling Green State University, replacing former head coach Dan Dakich, whose contract was not renewed by the school after 10 seasons.

Orr had a 13-17 overall record and a 7-9 MAC record in his first season at Bowling Green, ranking fifth in the East Division.
