Lothaire Bluteau is a popular actor from Canada. He is 65 years old.  Lothaire Bluteau played Marcus Alvers, a recurrent character in the third season of the television show 24. He portrayed Charles de Marillac, the French envoy to King Henry VIII’s court, in The Tudors’ fourth season. It was revealed in July 2014 that he had been chosen to play Charles the Bald, the 9th-century King of France, in the History Channel series Vikings.

For his role in the movie Jesus of Montreal, Bluteau received the 1990 Genie Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role. He was nominated for the same prize in 1996 for his performance in the movie The Confessional (Le Confessional). His performance in Black Robe earned him a nomination for the AFI Award for Best Actor.
