
Lorna Fejowas was a Warumungu woman named by the Prime Minister of Australia, Kevin Rudd, in his historic Apology to the Stolen Generations.
Mr Rudd also took to social media to remember Nanna Nangala.
“For those who have been part of the national apology to Indigenous Australians, you will know the story of Nanna Nangala Fejo as one of the Stolen Generations.
I told her story in the apology. Nanna Fejo passed away on Friday at the grand age of 91. Rest In peace,” Mr Rudd said.
She was 91 years of age.

Fejo died a peaceful death leaving no cause for foul play.
Northern Territory Chief Minister Michael Gunner said: “A woman who through her grace and warmth helped the nation better understand the tragedy of the Stolen Generations”.
“To members of her family right across the Northern Territory, I acknowledge your deep loss,” he wrote on Facebook.
“I also give thanks for how Nanna Fejo was able to bring us all a little closer together.
