Lorenzo Lemuel Carter (born December 10, 1995) is an American football linebacker with the National Football League’s Atlanta Falcons (NFL). He attended Georgia and was drafted by the New York Giants in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft.
Carter went to Norcross High School and played football there. After his senior year in 2013, he was chosen to the USA Today All-USA high school football team.
Carter attended Georgia and played collegiate football for head coaches Mark Richt and Kirby Smart. Carter earned the University of Georgia rookie of the year title as a true freshman after appearing in 13 games and making five starts.
