Lorena Wiebes children: Does Lorena Wiebes have a baby?
Wiebes currently single and does not have a child, Wiebes appeared on the podium to be presented with her yellow jersey, bringing with her a bouquet of flowers and a baby. With confusion spreading about the baby, who spent the majority of her time on the podium crying, Wiebes confirmed at a press conference that it was not hers.
She told reporters she had made a bet with a friend and former teammate Esther van Veen that if Wiebes won the first stage, she would bring Van Veen’s daughter Noortje onto the podium. The image of Wiebes on the podium, donned in the Tour de France Femmes leader’s jersey and clutching a crying baby, is now likely to go down in history.
