The 2024 Paris Fashion Week Off-White runway presentation is another way that Ghanaian singer and VGMA Artiste of the Year, Black Sherif, has demonstrated his passion and skill for fashion.
Earlier this month, at 2024 London Fashion Week, he walked the runway twice as a model for Labrum London.
He displayed the fall/winter collection of Off-White, the apparel brand created by the late Virgil Abloh, among other Ghanaian models, including Prince Brefo of “Free The Youth.”
Ibrahim Kamara, Off-White’s Image & Art Director, created the collection.
“Loud, positive, lively, cool—African American culture is culture,” Kamara remarked behind the scenes.
“The Off-White woman and man is a global citizen, and I wanted to express that. It’s American, it’s African, it’s east, it’s west. It’s well-traveled. It’s street, and I think street is a universal language. As you travel from country to country, there’s always a street energy that Off-White evokes. I wanted to push that,” he added.
As he blends his love of fashion with his music profession, Black Sherif’s admirers and fans have applauded him for his style and adaptability.
