The 24-year-old Ruixin Liu was born on November 13, 1998, in Shenzhen, China and she is best known as a Chinese professional golfer who plays on the U.S.-based LPGA Tour. She was Symetra Tour Player of the Year in 2019. She grew up in Shenzhen, about an hour from Hong Kong. She started playing golf with her family at an early age and by age nine or ten, she knew she wanted to play golf for the rest of her life. In 2011, she won the Mission Hills Jack Nicklaus Junior.
She turned pro at the age of 18 and joined the Symetra Tour in 2017. She became the Epson Tour’s sixth player to earn more than $100,000 in a single season and $124,839 in 2018.
