Reggie Rockstone ft Sarkodie – 11:11

One of the most anticipated collaborations in the world of hiplife music has finally been executed as the widely known founder, grandfather and pioneer of hiplife music, Reggie Rockstone has linked up with the most decorated rapper in Africa, Sarkodie on a joint.

Music patrons who were anticipating this collaboration extinguished their anticipation when sometime ago, Reggie Rockstone publicly stated on air that he would never be on a song with Sarkodie owing to the fear of being lyrically slaughtered by the highly decorated rapper.

However, on the occasion of his 55th birthday, Reggie Rockstone has decided to surprise us as he has released a flaming record featuring the artiste he said he fears.

Dubbed 11:11, the song is presented as a typical hiphop joint. The rationale behind the choice of the song title has not been expressly made in the public domain yet but it could be inspired by the Veterans’ Day celebrations which are held every 11th November to appreciate the efforts of veterans who partook in the world wars. Reggie Rockstone can be regarded as a veteran within the circles of Ghanaian music hence the choice of this song title.

In the song, the duo laid very enthralling verses with an enviable touch of delivery. Prince Dovlo shot the official video for the song.

The song is in memory of  the late famous martial artist, movie star and cultural icon, Bruce Lee.
