At the completion of the current campaign, Lionel Messi has hinted that he is not in a rush to leave Paris Saint-Germain.
The Argentine international, who earlier this year helped his team win the World Cup, has had a good 2022–23, outperforming his only ordinary first season at Parc des Princes.

His games in Ligue 1 and the Champions League have resulted in as much as 17 goals and 16 assists, albeit PSG is fighting to stay in the latter competition.

The French powerhouses must overcome a 1-0 deficit against Bayern Munich on Wednesday night in order to advance to the quarterfinals. They head to the Allianz Arena.

Right now, it’s unknown whether the outcome of that match had any bearing on Messi’s choice about his future.

Nonetheless, rumors continue to circulate that the illustrious forward is open to leaving Parc des Princes at the end of June.

Messi has been connected with free transfers to the MLS franchise Inter Miami, the Saudi Arabian team Al Ittihad, and Messi’s former club Barcelona.

The 35-year-old has stated on PSG’s Youtube page that he is still “content” with life in Paris.
