Some Ghanaian artistes have lauded and congratulated fellow musician Shatta Wale following his inclusion on Beyonce’s album for Disney’s live-action film “The Lion King”.
Shatta Wale on Tuesday, July 16, 2019, was unveiled as a feature artiste on “The Lion King: The Gift” album.
The 14-track album scheduled for release on Friday, July 19, also had production works from Ghana’s Guilty Beatz and features Nigerian stars; Wizkid, Yemi Alade, Tekno, Mr Eazi and Burna Boy.
Other featured international artistes include JAY-Z, Kendrick Lamar, Childish Gambino, Pharrell and Beyoncé’s daughter Blue Ivy Carter.
Immediately the news hit online, some top Ghanaian artistes took to their various social media platforms to congratulate Shatta Wale who happens to be the only Ghanaian artiste featured on the album.
