Ghanaian record producer Guilty Beatz has been named a producer on Beyonce’s “The Lion King: The Gift” soundtrack collection for Disney’s live-action movie.
The 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards’ “Afropop Song of the Year” winner attended the movie premiere in London with Beyoncé, JAY-Z, Donald Glover, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle among other stars.
According to sources, he produced three songs off the 14-track album which is due for release on Friday, July 19, 2019.
The songs are “Already” by Beyoncé and Shatta Wale, “Find Your Way Back (Circle of Life)” by Beyoncé and “Keys to the Kingdom” by Beyoncé, Tiwa Savage and Mr Eazi.
Shatta Wale is the only Ghanaian musician who appeared on the album.
However, the album has a bunch of Nigerian artistes. They are Wizkid, Yemi Alade, Tekno, Mr Eazi and Burna Boy.
