Lily Jane Collins was born on March 18, 1989, in Guildford, Surrey, to English musician Phil Collins and his second wife, former Beverly Hills Women’s Club president Jill Tavelman.

Her maternal grandfather was a Canadian Jewish immigrant who for many years maintained a men’s clothing store in Beverly Hills.

Collins has two younger half-brothers from her father’s third marriage, as well as two half-sisters from her father’s first marriage, Simon Collins and Joely Collins. Her uncle was cartoonist, Clive Collins.

Nicholas Collins, born in Geneva, Switzerland, is a rock drummer best known for his work with Phil Collins, Genesis, and his own band, Better Strangers.

Nic’s love of the drums began at a young age and has only increased through time.

Although Nic credits his father, Phil Collins, for instilling in him a love of music, his exposure to new projects and genres with his band, Better Strangers, has only served to fuel that fire.

Joely Collins

Joely Collins was born and reared mostly in Vancouver, British Columbia, where he attended the Vancouver Youth Theatre and then the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London.

Her mother’s husband, Phil Collins, adopted her after their marriage in 1975. They eventually had one kid, Simon (born in 1976).

At the age of 22, she was crowned Canada’s “Best Leading Actress” for her role in the television series Madison.

She has a recurring role in the long-running drama Cold Squad. She co-founded StoryLab Productions in 2009, where she produced the award-winning feature film Becoming Redwood.

Simon Collins

Simon Collins was born in Hammersmith, London, England on September 14, 1976. He is the eldest son of British-Canadian citizen Andrea Bertorelli and English drummer and singer-songwriter, Phil Collins.

After his parents divorced, he relocated to Vancouver, British Columbia, when he was eight years old.

Between the ages of 8 and 11, he resided in neighboring Richmond with his mother, Andrea, and his sister, Joely.

In September 1987, they moved into an estate acquired with their father’s help in Vancouver’s Shaughnessy neighborhood, a decision characterized by Andrea Collins as a means to higher education for Collins and his sister, as well as other lifestyle concerns.
