A tragic accident involving popular Kumawood actor LilWin has resulted in the death of a three-year-old boy. Nana Yaw lost his life while receiving treatment at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital on Saturday, May 25, following a collision at Amakom in Kumasi.
Reports indicate that Nana Yaw was seated in the passenger seat of his father’s vehicle when it collided with LilWin’s branded Mercedes Benz. The impact of the crash was severe, leading to the tragic loss of the young boy’s life.
In addition to the loss of life, Nana Yaw’s father, Jacob Kofi Ampomah, suffered a leg fracture and is currently receiving treatment at the emergency unit of the hospital. Both vehicles involved in the accident sustained significant damage, with reports suggesting that both drivers were speeding at the time of the collision.
LilWin, who also sustained injuries in the accident, was seen in a video being transported to the hospital for treatment. Despite the ordeal, the actor managed to attend the premiere of his movie, ‘A Country Called Ghana,’ on the same night as the accident.
Videos circulating online show LilWin with bandages on his forehead and an adhesive plaster on his right hand, indicating the extent of his injuries. During his speech at the premiere, the actor expressed his gratitude to everyone who supported him and made it possible for him to attend the event.
