Lil Wayne didn’t hold back when he saw a new wax figure of himself unveiled at the Hollywood Wax Museum in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
The 41-year-old rapper, who recently discussed artificial intelligence, took to social media app X to share his thoughts after a photo of the replica went viral.
“Sorry wax museum but dat sh*t ain’t me! You tried tho, and I appreciate the effort,” he wrote online.
The wax figure was a detailed recreation of the Louisiana native, complete with his signature head of locked hair and an array of tattoos. The imitation also featured a diamond-encrusted grill, and the figure was depicted with a wide smile.
This incident follows a similar experience with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, who had his own wax figure unveiled.
People raised concerns about the statue’s seemingly lighter skin tone, prompting The Rock to announce that he would ask for the skin color to be ‘updated.’
He responded with humor but stated that he would reach out to the museum to have the artwork tweaked with some ‘important details and improvements.’
