Raqhid Render, nicknamed Lil Keed, was born as the sixth of seven children in Atlanta, Georgia.

Render grew up in Forest Park before going to Atlanta and settling on Cleveland Avenue. Lil Keed began rapping actively after the loss of his close buddy Rudy in 2016 and soon signed with YSL. Nameless, his first Gold single, was released in 2018.

Long Live Mexico’ and ‘Trapped on Cleveland 3’ are both charted on the Billboard 200. He was 24.

The hip-hop community was shocked to discover late Friday night that YSL member Lil Keed had died.

The reason for death is unknown at this time.

Lil Gotit, his brother, confirmed the news.

On May 11, 2019, Lil Keed performed on the same stage as Young Thug, Chief Keef, Lil Wayne, and Comethazine at the Rolling Loud Festival in Miami, Florida.

On September 29, 2019, he was slated to play at the Rolling Loud Festival in Oakland.
