Dominique Armani Jones, better known as Lil Baby, is an American rapper from Atlanta, Georgia. Following the release of his mixtape Perfect Timing in 2017, he catapulted to mainstream stardom.
Jones was raised in the Oakland City neighborhood in southwestern Atlanta, Georgia. When he was two years old, his father abandoned the family. He and his two sisters were reared by his mother. He dropped out of Booker T. Washington High School in the ninth grade to pursue a career in drug peddling.
