For more than three decades, Leslie France has worked as an actor. In addition to the TV shows The Resident and National Treasure, she has appeared in critically acclaimed movies like Where the Crawdads Sing. She has also acted in independent films.

She was praised for giving a “soulful performance” as the lead in Confession of a Florist. She has appeared in a number of theatre productions, including King Lear, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Look Homeward, Angel.

After taking a break from acting in 1999 to raise her son Oscar, France continued to share her love of the performing arts by instructing actors at Chapman University, UCLA Extension, and The Los Angeles Film School.
