Leonard Fenton is an actor and director from the United Kingdom. Fenton was born on April 29, 1926, in England.
Fenton also received a scholarship to study at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Arts in London.
In 2004, he made his directorial debut with After Chekhov, a film about Russian writer Anton Chekhov.
He is well recognized for his portrayal of Dr. Harold Legg in the BBC soap drama Eastenders. Fenton’s directing debut was about Anton Chekhov, and he also performed in a performance of Chekhov’s play The Seagull.
During his time at King’s College London, he studied civil engineering and later served as an army engineer during World War II.
In addition to performing, he was a skilled painter who had multiple exhibitions.
He died on January 29, 2022, at the age of 95 years.
