The confirmation of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson as an associate justice-designate of the Supreme Court of the United States, brought joy to many US citizens, especially African Americans.
On April 7, 2022, she received Senate confirmation with all 50 members of the Democratic caucus and 3 Republicans voting in favor of her nomination, and 47 Republicans voting against her.
