The death of the Brazilian legendary football player Edson Arantes do Nascimento, known worldwide as Pele has thrown the football world into mourning.

Many fans and lovers of the football game from all walls of the world have poured out messages of condolences to the family of Pele

Reacting to Pele’s death, Nigerian Grammy award-winning music artist mostly known as Burna Boy took to his verified Twitter handle to share his condolence message with the world. According to Burna Boy, Pele is not dead as he would always be remembered as a legend.

In his words, He wrote, “RIP Pele. A man with a strong legacy that will be remembered FOREVER. Legends Never Die they are always Remembered in the hearts of the People.”

Notably, Pele was regarded as “The Greatest” during his football career as he enchanted the world with his talented tactics in the game of football.

He holds the world record of being the only player so far, in the history of the game to have won three World Cups. He died on December 28, 2022, at the age of 82, due to multiple organ failure, a complication of colon cancer.
