Leah Christine McSweeney is an American fashion designer and television personality who was born on August 27, 1982. McSweeney was born in Manhattan to Bryan and Bunny McSweeney and raised in an Irish-Italian family.
She started Married to the Mob, a women’s streetwear brand, in 2004 and appeared in the second season of The Real Housewives of New York City from 2020 to 2021.
Since its founding, Married to the Mob (MTTM) has worked with other artists on multiple occasions. A Kangol cashmere “beanie” cap and a Kaws two-piece graphic swimsuit were among its first significant partnerships.
Later, for a limited-edition Reebok lip-print sneaker, MTTM would work with German accessories company MCM and French store Colette. Later, MTTM and Nike would produce another pair of limited-edition sneakers.
