Laz Alonso is an American actor who was born on born March 25, 1974. He is well-known for his role in Avatar.
After earning a BA in Business Administration from Howard University, the person worked as an investment banker for Merrill Lynch. With a couple of his coworkers, Alonso later founded a marketing firm, although the acting was always his first love.
The Washington, DC-based sex star persevered in his endeavor and soon work on commercials and music videos flooded in. Alonso appeared in the music videos for Toni Braxton’s “Hit the Freeway” and Aaliyah’s “I Miss You.”
In addition to hosting several BET shows, he appeared in a Budweiser TV commercial for which he won an Emmy.
